Starting from the back of Mam Tor, where there is a lay-by, the bridleway heads straight down the hill, north towards Edale, before joining with another bridleway from Hollins Cross at Greenlands. It turns to tarmac for the rest of the descent.
The track starts with a 100m long down-hill straight, which has been smoothed out with a loose gravelly surface (don’t brake too sharply), before flatting out at a gate. Next comes a dirt section with some small corners before a straight along the side of a gulley next to a wall. Some slightly bermed corners follow before a flatter grassy section. Next comes a dip before a left corner which leads into some more flowing bends and into a gulley by a lone tree. The exit of the section steepens before a left corner and some gritstone rocks. The track flattens out again at a gate, followed by some corners which poor visibility. After the second left hand corner the track becomes narrower with some small limestone bedrock drops. Emerging next to a property, a final right turn takes you to a 3 way junction, left goes down a tarmac drive to Edale (bear in mind cars do use this), right goes up to Hollins Cross.

Is this track alright to ride atm? Heard there was some sort of disagreement about it

I very much doubt it. Where did you hear that?
It was worked on within the last few months by the Ride the Peak trail maintenance team (us and some other members of RTP). We spoke to the Peak Park ranger who is the maintenance team leader on Tuesday, he’d been up there recently and he didn’t mention any problems. So unless it’s a very recent problem or he hadn’t heard of it, it should be fine.
We’ve going up there on Sunday to maintain the drainage, so I’ll let you know if we hear anything.

Jack,
I am booked on all the Pearce races this year, but would not have space for you, as i will be using a mixture of the work van and car when the vans is not available. Which both only have space for two.
