ive just come back for brentwood and have made the landing higher and have started to dig into the landing maybe saturday i will go down there to finish the hole off. the landings about 1 1/2 foot higher than what it was about 2inchs of the size of the kicker. i spent most of the time trying to smooth out the hole but have not finished digging it yet. it taking some time to get it right but hey, you end up with better results with more time taken and im in no rush. i only wish id started it about a two months ago that way wed have a full line of jumps then i cant wait until their finished and their all dusty in the summer its going to be great. irwin maybe we should have a dig day there if you could get loads of people that would be awesome.

Well the landing wants to be at least 2 bike lenghts and just make it smooth up to the next kicker to give it flow. Not sure any of that teaser was in wharncliffe but they did film there, so should be something in the full movie.

Off subject - check the teaser for the new Collective movie 'Seasons', looks awesome:

Does the very brief bit of Peaty pinning some switch-backs look a lot like Wharncliffe?

Remember this "hole" has to drain, otherwise you'll be losing speed in its mud.

Just get some more dirt on the landing, so it is a little higher. You can get dirt by digging the bottom of the landing out. Make sure you leave enough space between each jump so that the transition between the landing and take off is smooth.

im gonna build a steeper trannie on the landing as well to gain speed and i am going to dig the landing into the ground for pump and speed only thing im worried about is the second jump colliding with the new section of the pump track. i might use the side of the landing as a pump! anyways can you come down and help sometime?

Yes more height would be better, but make sure you keep it nice and wide. Why not dig the landing in aswell give you some soil for the next kicker.
